At Shear Artistry we also want to celebrate other Indianapolis artists – not those who are already well known, but rather those who pursue art as a passion at the end of their work day.
We sell one-of-a-kind hand-beaded earrings, bracelets and necklaces made by a local artist who has been beading about five years, and feature antiques from Doc's Architectural Salvage and Reclamation – a salvage and antique store covering 7 acres with a 36,000 square foot facility. Doc's offers an amazing variety of antique and vintage pieces, so if you love re-purposing items, this is also the place to go.
Our turn of the century doors that serve as our salon's stations and the gorgeous Victorian radiators, now shelves at Shear Artistry, are just two small examples of what can happen when you combine a little imagination with Doc's antiques.
Shear Artistry has the honor of offering some of Doc's smaller and rarer finds for sale on commission here at our salon. Get your hair done with us and adorn your home with beautiful items!
Doc's is located in Indianapolis at 1325 W. 30th St., just 1.3 miles west of the Children's Museum. Visit them online at docsarchitecturalsalvage.com.
